Strawberry Festival & Photo Booth

Jacob and I love strawberries! This is one of my favorite times of the year, because there is such a plethora of them - and we definitely take advantage. A couple towns over, in Oxnard, there is a Strawberry Festival every year. While it looks tempting to go, the traffic getting there is literally a nightmare, there are thousands of people, and you're going to pay like $5 for a couple strawberries. I hate all of those things.

So, Jacob and I decided to throw our own Strawberry Festival, where we only rub elbows with other people who we like. lol. We had such a fun time. Everyone who came brought some sort of strawberry dish and it was so much fun trying all the different creations. There were lots of pies, a chocolate fountain, cupcakes, strawberries & whip cream, and even strawberry chicken! We also had face painting - which wasn't as magical as I thought it would be, but still provided some entertainment. My niece's face was painted like a pirate and my nephew got a blue mustache.

My favorite part about the party was our DIY photo booth. I'll have to write a separate post on how to do this, because I mainly just want to share the photos in this post. Here are some of my favorite pics from our photo booth:

Coty & Becky - two of our friends looking like royalty!

Tim & Rachel - Batman & Catwoman
Valerie, Andy & Grant in an awesome family portrait!

Uncle Mike & Aunt Denise - Part of my hilarious family
My Dad & Maggie - herbs in hand
Me and my sis-in-law - Lauren

Our good friends Michael & Keli

Even our dog Shadow got in the spirit of the party!

I hope you enjoyed looking at our fun photo booth pictures. I definitely want to do this again at another big event. Overall, the Schlosser Strawberry Festival was a big hit and hopefully we will make it an annual party.
